Clairmont/Fairfax Guard Gate Information as of 11/25/23
Everyone has submitted a form to the new gate company through your Building President, with your name, address, phone number, license tag number, etc. This information is being loaded onto the system for the new company. However, it appears as though not everyone’s penmanship is perfectly clear and to this end, there are those people who may be receiving a phone call from the following number to clarify their writing: 407-900-7994
I am sending you this information since I realize that not everyone answers their phone if they are not familiar with the phone number calling them. If you do receive a call from the number in red above, please answer it so your information is correct in the new gate system.
I will send you additional information in the coming days with specific instructions, a concierge number, a smartphone app and a website to utilize if you choose to do so.

CLUBHOUSE BACK ENTRANCE DOOR
Please be advised that the back entrance door of the clubhouse is not functioning properly, Lockman Security has scheduled the repair for Monday November 27, 2023. In the meantime, the door will be disabled and residents and their guests will need to enter through the front entrance. Additionally, the bathroom doors will be accessible from 7AM-7PM for residents and their guests that need to use the ramp to access the clubhouse.

Front Gate Issues

Please be advised that it has been very challenging to work with the front gate over the past week. At first, we were told that the phone wasn’t working, therefore, the attendants weren’t able to answer their phone, however, they were able to call out when our guests arrived. Now, their mailbox is full and cannot take any messages. When some of our residents went to the gate to inquire about this, they were told that they were instructed not to answer any incoming calls.
We don’t really know exactly what is happening, but it appears that since the front gate company was told that they were being replaced by another company, there have been an awful lot of issues, more than previously, with the gate attendants. Our new gate company and personnel will begin working for us on or about December 1st, so please be patient until then.

Dear Neighbors,
We are all feeling the cost of homeowners’ insurance skyrocketing! The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023, and end no later than Thursday, November for the 2023 Special Session C. Among other topics, this Special Session will include discussions about lowering the costs of homeowners’ insurance. What this means is that the time is now to let them know they need to fix the insurance and reserves issues! Some of the legislators may not know how bad the situation is with yearly insurance costs doubling and tripling to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars, not pennies. Make your voices heard not only to our Broward Delegation but to EVERY Florida Senator and House Representative!
